Inaccurate profile

The DNA profile I received was inaccurate. It totally missed the fact that I am partially Native American Indian and said I was 100% northern European. Probably based on my last name, not my DNA.

Confused

My results came back with 0% Native American. This confused me due to the fact I know that is not correct. My grandfathers mother was Cherokee Indian. Almost full... So for mine to come back with 0% can't be right.
Response from 23andme.comBy Customer Care, April 26, 2017
Thank you for contacting the 23andMe Team. Having Native American DNA is different from having Native American ancestry. We understand that the distinction between ancestry and DNA can cause confusion.
Your results from 23andMe can only show you what can be seen in your DNA. Native American DNA is often lost with time and with every generation and may not be revealed in testing such as ours. For example, it only takes a couple of generations from a full-blooded Native American to lose all trace of Native American DNA.

It was wonderful. I always thought I was 100% Swedish but found out I'm Scandinavian (Norway & Danish, too) Irish/British, Finnish, French/German and Eastern European.

The proces was quick and simple, and my results were in faster than expected. I have a general interest in genetics and science so the information provided by 23andme is very exciting to me. the only reason why I can't give a 5 star rating is because, they can only test so much and I'm left wanting to know more!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was hoping I could have a more detailed explanation instead of "British/Irish," "French/German," "Balkan."
