I learned that most of my DNA is from Great Britain and Ireland. I wish there was more specificity regarding the countries in Great Britain from which my DNA originated, such as what percentage was Welsh British, Scottish and Irish.

My purpose of this was to see if I had a child out there that has done the 23andMe tests as well. Although I did find a lot of relatives that I didnt know. But its not an instant locator. I guess it was just wishful thinking for me. But I will still continue to use it as it has brought a lot of family back together

I took almost 3 months to get results. Once the results were in you are shown basic things about you on a generic level and if you want more, you will have to pay additional premiums.
Do not buy this kit if you want to feel good about spending over $100 especially when inflation is the worst.

Need to confirm is that family members from mother

I purchased this and was expecting a total difference outcome. My soul purpose was to find my father. I was always informed that I was African American Italian and Indian. I found out that I have zero Italian or Indian in My DNA so they raised a question of my mother and grandparents cousins Etc it's not my family my real family. If that is the case that means I am now on a search to find my real family and my whole life has been a lie. I decided to add some really harsh questions and make this known to several family members, so I really do hope that the DNA test is accurate because if not I just ruined several lives and as well as mine and that's going to be a Cause for litigation. I will take another DNA test from accessory just to be certain that the results I get back from 23andMe is correct. Also I still don't know who my father is so it didn't really help me.

I only bought this to see if I could find close relatives that I didn’t know about but it didn’t help at all. I have children and close family members that did this as well and it didn’t show up they was my family it said 0 close relatives. Waste of money!
