When I first bought this product I was very excited to see my background even though it was somewhat predictable. Some of the details were not very informative in that many of the results just told me things that I already knew. But it's very enlightening to see exactly what you are.

The DNA Relatives Feature Is Fascinating

I bought the $200 kit (health and ancestry) but did not feel the health part was useful. It told me nothing that I did not already know. The DNA relatives segment of the Ancestry report was the fascinating part--but not worth $200. Buy only the ancestry kit, the cheaper of the two kits.

I received 23 and me for a birthday present in January. I sent it in in February and received it a few weeks ago in April. Although it did take a little while to get my results back, I was highly impressed with the test and results! I Will be purchasing more for some of my relatives. Looking forward to more results. Thank you:)
