Easy to use

I bought several kits for my family for Christmas gifts. They were all happy to get them and had been wanting to get a kit. Everyone was excited. The directions are clear and easy to use. It was interesting getting our reports back and fun.

I purchased a kit for myself. I was so excited about getting the results that I purchased a kit for my brother and am anxiously waiting for his results so that we can compare our heritage.

Only maternal side

I received this as a gift, but after all the surveys, it seems everything I wrote was repeated on my reports. We know nothing about my paternal grandfather. The information I included was from my mother's side and that was all that showed. I cannot believe nothing came from my father's side.
I still recommend 23 &Me to others because of all the detail but I have my doubts..

This is the best ancestry test I have used personally. The detail they give is awesome and they refrain from saying general areas. Also, I love the site and how pretty it all is. The different surveys that are available to take are great as well and give cool insights I would definitely recommend it, and already have! :) Seriously everyone should use this.
