disappointed with the lack of matches for my daughter, she is Asian. Now I believe that there will be even fewer matches (she has only 135 total) Compare that to my thousands of matches, perhaps recruiting Asians to test might be a priority giving opportunity in minority markets so a more diverse picture for consumers could be achieved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Maternal DNA Test

This test was a gift. I like that design of the pages as most of it is easy to understand. I wish it provided paternal DNA results. I don't have a lot of information about my Mother's family and this test is not much help so far. The health reports are fascinating.

I am happy when I find out that I have new DNA relatives! I enjoy sharing my family history with my new-found relatives and learning from them too.

I found my half sister

I only knew about her three years before taking the dna test. I had hoped to find her and 23 and me helped me do just that.

Found lost relative

Beyond expectation. Because of an early life adoption, I never knew who my biological mother was. Through testing, a connection was made with an unknown relative helping to answer questions.
