Look in the mirror to get the same results

If you are fairly certain of your ancestry, skip it. It will tell you nothing that you don't already know. The Health report is an upcharge which is rude.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was able to find my dad after 40 years, a brother and many cousins. I was in contact with them within two hours I knew everything I wanted to know.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think the information might be better for younger folks, under 30. If I was 6 years old maybe it would be interesting to get info about the likelyhood of getting backhair or finding out if I have any known genetic diseases, however at 62 I already know I don't have back hair or the genetic diseases they told me about. What I was interested in getting and did not was probability for different problems as i get older; What are the odds of me getting diabetes and other older life diseases?
All in all it was interesting. More information has to be available?

Thank you for your feedback. The 23andMe Health + Ancestry Service is the first and only genetic service available directly to you that includes reports that meet FDA standards. You now are able to receive 65+ reports on health, traits and ancestry instead of exclusively ancestry reports.

Thank you for your feedback. While there is a short ethnicity questionnaire that is associated with your profile information, these answers are not used to generate your ancestry results.
The data that we report is strictly genetic information regarding your genotype (e.g. the A’s, T’s, C’s, and G’s at particular locations in your genome), generated through processing of your saliva by 23andMe. Participation in surveys is completely voluntary. Choosing not to participate will not affect your genetic data.

No info. A waste of money

I did NOT find out if I had cancer gene; which is the reason I paid 200$$$$ waisted ! And I got NO details about my ancestors other than Irish English which I already knew ... a waist and very hard to register
