Worth every penny!

I was adopted had been looking for biological father- a pic and a name forever. I bought the kit on black Friday 2019. I recieved my results back on Sunday Dec. 22, 2019. (I couldn't believe how fast it was!) On 5 days later I contacted a relative and had name of my father!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Health traits were so exact it was almost scary! Not only that but I found out at 61 years of age that I have a half sister! So excited to meet and get to know her!

I have always wanted to do this but found out that work only my results and no other immediate family members registered, the results were broad. My parents are passed, only one brother, many of aunts and uncles have passed, and needless to say no grandparents in the picture. DO NOT WAIT. I do wish I had done this when it became available.

Unable to get valid information from relatives regarding our family history and health I felt responsible to have answers for those who come after me, I took my test in May of 2016, and my life is much improved from 23 and Me, and by contributions to surveys. Thank you

More information and features than expected

My main motivation for using 23andMe Health & Ancestry service was to have access to health tests to check my carrier status for a long list of conditions. Since I have neither a large extended family nor have "seasoned" relatives, I could not really assess what conditions could manifest later in my life. While 23andMe is clear on the limitations regarding the number of tested mutations with a known association for a specific condition, I do have peace of mind based on my carrier status results.
What I appreciate even more is that your ancestry results may be updated based on new data pooled as the number of 23andMe customers increases. I am really satisfied with the information and services provided.

Great Format and Presentation

I think the look of 23andMe is overall futuristic compared to other DNA providers and the building of the family tree different but a great tool to verify known extended family branches. The health products reflect my known family histories of illnesses to be expected so nothing new was learned but like tree branch confirmation it is appreciated. I do find the Neanderthal being included very interesting. I do wish your product included looking for ancient Denisovan DNA also. I would have liked to have verification of that also.
