I am so happy I got this for myself! I have always wondered where my family came from, and yes I checked EVERYTHING out and YES it was so correct! It is one of the best decisions I have ever made! The day my results came back I thought how could I read anything else?!? I studied it all and loved

I’ve emailed three times asking what I had Accidentally purchased in October (because I received a thank you email and do not want a continuous charge .. or anything) and have received no response. If anyone from 23&me actually reads these, maybe they’ll finally reach back, or cancel, or whatever it takes. Here’s hoping.

Health only compared to Ashkenazi Jews

Baseline for health reports compares one to Ashkenazi Jews. If you are not part of that ethnic group, the health part of this is invalid and a waste of money.

Response from 23andme.comBy Customer Care, November 21, 2018
Thank you for your feedback. Ethnicity is a factor in genetic disease risk. Many recessive genetic conditions are most common in certain ethnicities, and very rare in others. We highlight certain ethnicities for each health report, both on the public website and in the report itself. Highlighted ethnicities (also described as "Important Ethnicities" or "relevant ethnicities" in the reports) are populations in which the variants we report on have been studied the most or are the most common. If your ethnicity is highlighted for a particular report that report may provide more detailed information for you.

It’s too vague. I believe is based on surveys not actual data. It was ball park accurate at best
