Ancestry DNA

I was happy with the results of my ancestry DNA study. It was very thorough and accurate. Your team was able to predict that my brother's youngest son and I were related thru DNA evidence only. I was especially surprised by how much DNA evidence you were able to extract from just a sputum specimen. I liked how your team explained in simple laymen's terms how you do your work and what it means in DNA interpretation. I admire your scientific emphasis and methods in reading DNA and presenting your results in understandable terms and graphs. I especially liked the colorful photographs and articles highlighting the features of each culture and people my DNA was linked to.

I am adopted. I wanted to know the truth of my history. Where I came from. This gave me all the answers and more. I love keeping up to date with all the information on health also. I selected the Health and Ancestry. I recommend it to everyone!

Finding a new side of the family

I initially bought 23andMe because I wanted to find out if our family had any links to blooding clotting issues. My doctor suggested 23andMe, she said it was way less expensive than going through any testing she would order. So I ordered, 23andMe which was easy to use, I got the results back quickly and the website was user friendly. After receiving my results, I found new family members. I have never known my mothers side of the family. I have contacted cousins on my mothers side. Not only do I have health reports, I have new family because of 23andMe.

I bought this kit to not only learn about my health, but to also learn about my ancestry. I did know approximate regions of where my ancestors came from, but I found out more specific locations and learned a few things I did not know with this kit. My results came in nearly 2 weeks before I was expecting them and they gave me updates with each step of the process they completed.
