Waste of money!!

An advertisement I ready stated there would be information about Dimentia & Alzhiemers, but the health reports were mostly about rare diseases. Tge other DNA analysis is 1/2 the price and doesn't include this ridiculous information about rare diseases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frustrating

I purchased 4 kits for myself and family. I have to say this was the worst as far as results. 90%+ of my results were totally incorrect. I am talking about the health and traits. What a waste of money!!

Most human traits are complex, meaning they are not determined by a single factor. Even when we find genetic factors that have a large effect on a trait, they still explain only a portion of it. This means that we can only determine the likelihood of having that trait. That means there is still the chance of not having that trait.
Many other factors influence traits, including your ancestry, other genes, and other non-genetic factors. That’s why we also include a section in each report that talks about some of these other factors. The results are based only on specific genetic factors that we know about now, but our predictions may get better as we learn more.

Very Intriguing

I love learning about my ancestry but have also gained some very important medical information. A variant for Factor V Leiden was detected so I got tested and low and behold I have it. I am grateful to know this information because it increases my risk for a blood clot and is very important to know when I undergo surgery. I highly recommend purchasing, you will not regret it!

With the help of my DNA results I found out who my natural father was! Felt like a huge weight was lifted off my heart! I recommend this kit for one loooking for answers!

I was worried that I might be at risk for late onset Alzheimer's after seeing the condition progress rapidly in my grandmother. Although I bought this test out of curiosity for more clues to my ancestry, it confirmed what I already thought, I do have the gene variant, and I am at a higher risk. I talked to my family and increased the amount I'm saving for retirement just in case. Now I know that it may likely happen and I will be prepared if or when it does, so no need to worry.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first look at my dna results you had my French ancestry w the city my great grandmother is from and now that you revamped it youre claiming I have no French ancestry at all. What gives?

Not very informative

I got this as a gift. It just seems like one big advertisement to pay them more money. I wanted to know more about certain health issues, and that just was not there. Instead, the company keeps trying to get me to spend more money, and I don't even know if it will be any more helpful or straight forward that what I have now. Explanations offered on not very helpful already, so why would I give the company anymore money?
