Not worth it!

Gives you no details unless you sign up for a year. Very vague report that lists a bunch of supposed cousins who share 1% of my DNA. Ridiculous. Luckily it was half-price so I only wasted $60.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well, it happened to me. I took a DNA test to learn about my genetic makeup, and I discovered I have a half-sibling! I guess my dad wasn’t being entirely faithful when I was in kindergarten. Thanks, 23andMe!

Yes, it’s cool to know the things that they share with you for $100 but i was surprised by just how little they share for that price point and how the entire app experience is them teasing you to spend another HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS for them to reveal more information that they already know.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got to discover my origins, which was wonderful and cleared up SO MANY family rumors about our heritage.
I do not like that you have to pay a lot more for reports I felt should have been included.

I bought this kit and didn't expect much but I was very surprised with my results I ended up finding out that I have ancestry from places I never would've thought I had any relation towards
