Totally life changing seeing my genetic ancestry and health reports. Had no idea of my DNA relatives and ancestry. I've spent hrs going over the ancestry and health information.

Always thought I was of French and Italian descent, well, turns out I'm one third German somehow! Still digging around for that German ancestor!

Edu-tainment and a mirror. I bought a kit in 2012 and I peek at my profile all the time. It's very easy to explore the insights about my DNA through their sleek portal. Ethnicity percentages, migration patterns of my ancestors, pedigrees, carrier status insights, the list of helpful graphics and trait perspectives goes on (and on).
Exploring my data got more interesting when my 4 members of my family got a kit. We still talk about it during the holidays. Did you know that my DNA profile shares a 50% likeness to my parents'?

I never knew my fathers father and know nothing about his family..I was curious about my fathers father and that is the reason I started the search..We know who he was but never ever met. 23 and me has not really answered any of those questions but has answered others..

This is my second dna test. Out of the two this one is my favorite. Easy to understand and apply ancestry to family knowledge.

Although it can be difficult to get suggested relatives to divulge much, I located some distant cousins who were eager to correspond. Loading my results into GedMatch provided more matches, but I barely understand it. Nonetheless, I think this was a worthwhile purchase.

GOOD LUCK NAVIGATING SITE

At first I was excited to explore my DNA good luck trying to navigate the site and connect. Way over complicated way to confusing to try to even figure the site out. My jounery ended with my results. Who ever made this site def over thought it. Maybe a button to find relives like a flow chart to follow at a glance or some easier way to manage connections. Cant even figure this site out and they keep asking me to upgrade for something that 23 and me does not even make easy to explore. 23 make it easy for the rest of the people or I predict failure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
