I looked forward to the medical tendencies to see if I needed to alter my lifestyle. Found out some things that I suspected so validation and knowledge to move forward with information for a better life.

Still not sure whether this is a good buy. So far, might be better than Ancestry on the DNA front but both seem quite vague in their pronoucements. They fail to provide and accurate cross-match although the results are somewhat similar.

The DNA results are interesting, and generally conformed to my known family history; with a few surprises! Women I have known always claimed I was a Neanderthal. Guess they were right! And what's that Yakut connection all about? Who knew that I was somehow, and some part connected to the Siberian Reindeer People!
Seriously though; the ongoing health testing affinities, and results are what I have enjoyed the most. And they keep on coming, unexpectedly. Every once in a while I will be appraised of a new test and a new result. Much appreciated! Been fun so far. Looking forward to more!

I purchased the 23 & me kit about four years ago. The test response was swift and complete. The 23 & Me company is professional, thorough, and insightful. I have learned so much about my ancestry roots. The company continues to grow and learn an amazing amount of knowledge of my relatives and ancestors. I highly recommend 23 & Me is a trustworthy company with scientific knowledge as it's foundation.

I loved learned about my genetic makeup, but would really love for them to update the information more often. To me, with as me people everyday signing on, our makeup should be updated and changing all the time. The only time mine changed was when my mom got on and that was LAST year!

Do not like the changes.

I am not satisfied with the changes 23&me has made. We bought many kits for our family and now we can't utilize them like we once were able to. I wish we could go back to the old format. We have been able to answer many health questions, by knowing our predispositions to various illnesses. It saved my husbands, daughter and granddaughters lives finding out they had celiac. Their doctor had no idea why they were so sick and is now a believer.
