Astonishing results!

My wife bought this for me, for my 46th birthday. At first I was a bit skeptical, but did a little research into genetics and decided it was worth a try, especially since she had researched it before I did and took the leap of faith. My results took about the same time as was indicated to receive, and I was pleasantly surprised when reading my reports. Many things I had been told while growing up were true, but many turned out not to be quite what I had always thought. It all makes perfect sense, though. And on my traits, I couldn't believe how well they nailed it. I find the information to be very helpful. A very wise person once said "Know thyself". This applies here. Will be making some dietary and lifestyle changes as a result. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to know more about themselves.

My boring ancestry

Hoped for more interesting ancestry! But my minuscule % of Neanderthal possibly suggests that I won't sneeze after eating dark chocolate.

Some of the reports seem made up. I don't see how the likely good of me owning a dog matter, that is one example.

my kids got me this for Christmas. I know NOTHING about my moms family. since getting results back I have gotten online and joined a geneology site and I am finding relatives.

Lots of Information!

I was given this as a gift, and once I submitted it, it took about 5 weeks to obtain the results. There is quite a bit of information available but I think the price is a bit steep. I recommend others to use the services of 23andme if you are interested in your ancestry and the other valuable information they provide.

I was anxious to get the results. I though i was going to have African ancestor i did but whei read 68.4 European it blew my mind... wow thanks x23 and me

I was always curious about my family's ancestry. I knew I had some type of Iberian in me, but thanks to 23andme, now I have the answers.
