DNA & Health

My DNA is a prime example how far back our Ancestors have been mixing Races, Tribes, Nationality. My Health Conditions from Injuries are not genetic. I suggested more research on American Indian DNA. New discovery has proven that some bloodlines of Indians actually came from Southern or Western European/Mediterranean or even Africia! Archaeology has proven that people have lived in Americas long before we were taught. Who knows, one day we may discover the Lost Tribe of Atlantis!

Best thing I have purchased in a long time!!! I was genuinely surprised when I found out my results. Really happy to really know what my ancestry is, instead of thinking I was stuff that I was not

Very Organized

23andMe's website is well organized and easy to navigate. The reports are always interesting. One improvement would be to add an identifying relationship status title in consideration of the number of blended families today. For example, in my case, through 23andMe, we discovered that my aunt is actually my "Half Aunt" and not my first cousin as reported by 23andMe. My Half Aunt is my mother's blood half sister. Other "half status" relationships are available in the drop down menu. So should half aunt and half uncle. These individuals, when blood related, are still close enough to be recognized within the immediate circle of family members. Long story short, considering all possible immediate family member relationships in the drop down menu would be very appropriate.

My wife bought it for me on my birthday. I had also purchased one for her as well for Christmas. When we got our results back they were very similar with no specific individual test results. The results were very generic that could have been given to thousands of others with little deviation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm adopted. It was a gift from my son. We both found it somewhat vague on all fronts. The most interesting thing I found out was a have neanderthal dna, and quite a lot lol. Could and may were used frequently. I think my expectations were too high.
