It took a longer period of time than I thought. Once I got the results I was happy until I saw video after video of twins, triplets, and a set of quads that took it and got random results even though they are all identical. So I say what did I spend money on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comparing my family tree (40 + yrs of work) to my results from 23 & me, was so exciting. It verified all my work over the years and gave me insight into new information too. The new info confirmed stories I had heard, but couldn't prove. Now I can. Thank you!

A deeper understanding

Learning about my DNA has allowed me to understand why I am the way I am. I've learned that I'm even stronger than I thought I was, which has given me a sense of peace. Also knowing what my weaknesses are, and what supplements can transform the way my body functions, kind of solves a mystery. We are all bombarded by things we "should take or try" and it's wonderful to know what my body truly needs. I'm sure the 23andMe experience will improve my life and save me money in the long run.

I am so proud. 92.9% Sub Saharan African is a whole lot of African. :-) King Tut was said to be 96% Sub Saharan African :-)
