I bought it to think I would get some hard facts about my future heath.I want to be proactive with my World Trade Center Health Program to prevent any deseases I might be prone to.My family and I worry about my future health and I wanted to know if I'm more likely to get a certain desease and to be able to prevent it or control it.I didn't get any information about my future health rather possible color my eyes,ear wax content and curly or straight hair.I was a bit disappointed in that area.I did like knowing where my ancestry was from.I wish there was more health related tests.

Information doesn't seem to be accurate. It wasn't easy to use and I am feeling as if I wasn't my money!

Ancestry good, medical OK.

My only reason for doing this was to find out about my MTHFR gene. After a lot of internet research and scrolling thru the raw data, I THINK I have an answer. It should have been simple. Even if 23 doesn't ROUTINELY conclude anything about MTHFR from its raw data, there should have been, even still BE, a way for me to explicitly ask for this. I wish I had used some other company, because I didn't get what I thought I was paying for.

this is the third testing site I have used. Starting in 2005. By far the most comprehensive and accurate results yet. Matches all family history.

In addition, the 23andMe site has been redesigned, offering updated tools and features, better functionality, and new content.

Ok but little disappointed

When I sent this in I thought I would learn more about my background, all you came back with was 99 per cent Northern European. I know My great grandfather and great great grandmother on mothers side were pure native Americans. You said nothing about any Native American. I was disappointed as I knew I had some but nothing was said. V

Best DNA interpretation available!

I've actually bought all current dna services available to find information about my biological patents. 23andme has been, By Far, the most inclusive, informative and most satisfying company. If your going to spend the money, get the health report as well. Might as well and definitely worth it if your unsure about your genetics.
