I enjoyed reading about my ancestors and where they came from. Enjoyed the medical history, and was happy too find out I had none of the markers for the diseases listed.

i WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I FOUND OUT I HAD SOUTH ASIAN IN MY DNA, TOTAL SURPRISE.

Not user friendly

I felt that it was overpriced for what you get in return. And it was a nightmare trying to navigate to what info I wanted so see. Very NOT user friendly.

Long Lost Family

Very amazing!!! I unexpectedly found my long lost 1st cousin whom her sister has been searching for since 1999. She was placed for adoption in 1966. 23 & Me is really champ for everyone not only adopted children.

Unimpressive overall.

Nothing to make this worth the money. Report took forever and result presentation was uninteresting-my ancestry was fine, just not the way 23andme presented it.

Best Money I've Spent in a Long Time!

My husband did his DNA with Ancestry, and I went with 23 and Me. I received way more information, including carrier status for 40 different diseases and conditions. Also, there were a bunch of interesting tidbits about traits and my chances of having them. I loved getting the list of people who share my DNA. The first person on my list was a cousin my family had lost touch with. The whole experience has been fascinating. My DNA showed a much more varied inheritance than I expected, and my whole family was really interested in my results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of information but not sure how to interpret.

There are endless insights you can take part in but there needs to me more of a comprehensive way to interpret your results instead of just going through each test. There almost needs to be a person assigned to you to walk you through the results and what they mean.

My wife and I received the kits as gifts from our daughter's. We both were underwhelmed with the results. The timelines or date periods displayed seem contrived and vague at best.
