BLACK LINE-BEWARE

Black line appeared after 4 months in use only when using print from feed. Followed all directions to clean. Webiste has videos and the compartment near the white guard on the inside cover does not open per video. It is not manufactured as videos indicate. The AIO has to be physically brought to an authorized repair and they claim it is not covered under the general warranty. Good luck finding that warranty on the website. So now I have to physically carry it out of the office? Hire a strong man? Had an IT person set up initial installation for 7-person office. Too difficult to set up double-sided printing, options are minimal. Copying from glass cuts off edges. Not a great solution, but a cheap one.

The little green button you push to close cover was broke when received. It is very slow to print and It currently doesn't see the cyan ink cartridge. Nothing but headaches

I find for such an expensive printer even though it is a little older it does not preform like I would expect for an Brother product. When I try printing on gloss product like photo paper or brochure type paper or light card stock it comes out all distorted and dripping with toner. When I try printing 2 sided it almost always jams especially like the above mentioned products.
I also have a Brother MFC-J680DW printer and it does a fairly descent job printing but it is very slow when printing color and usually jams when I use light or a little heavier card stock.

Nothing but issues!

The day I received the printer, I took it out of the box, plugged it into the wall, hooked it up to the network, and it worked perfectly
But this would not remain the case
The very next day, the printer could not find the network and no laptops could find the pinter. Nothing changed, it just simply went offline. I spent days troubleshooting, rebooting, looking online, making sure it was not my network, etc.
Than one day, it reappears. From here, we had this battle every few days. I was constantly rebooting it, reentering the network and so forth.
This printer is also very very very slow. It takes forever to receive data, and when it finally does, it prints at a snails pace.
The color when it comes out is also terrible, often times leaving streaks everywhere.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paper curls

pages curl no matter the brand or type of paper and the print will quit, it seems, via page count not from being out of toner. pages look fine but won't print until you replace cartridge. Big waste of resources. good quality prints otherwise.

Prints great, amazin ad integration to store scans on my nas. But the fact that it doesnt actually scan via the adf in duplex makes adf scanning virtually useless.
