Not reliable for printing 2 sided pages

As some other buyers have stated, the Brother MFC-L8610CDW color laser printer works reliably except for two sided printing of files and documents from the computer. Print commands from the computer and the set up on printer for 2 sided printing do not guarantee the printer will print a 2 sided document. It is very frustrating to waste paper as the printer does not default to 2 sided printing even after many tries. Brother as a manufacturer should patch the software drivers to allow for more user friendly 2 sided printing set up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Printing & Great Economy

The printing results are flawless and the economy of toner cost is fantastic. My toner costs have been reduced by at least 75% from my previous printer by another maker. While this printer is slightly slower to warm up and start printing, once started, it is very fast and makes up for this very slight delay. I believe I have found my "forever" printer.

Seamless installation

Very pleased with this printer. It was easy to connect to all my devices, and prints documents quickly. I previously had an Hp that NEVER worked properly and I spent two four hour time blocks trying to get it connected to my computer, to no avail. Which reminds me, I need to go on their site to review my horrible experience

This brand came recommended and I was eager to try a laser printer in my home office for the first time. Set up was easy and output was crisp and clean.
The first issue came when I tried to print 2-sided which resulted in a tumble print vs head to head. The second issue came when using the ADF for the first time. First issue was resolved by downloading a different print driver - which was new for me — my question being why was this necessary and why wasn’t I instructed to do that during initial setup? Still working on the second issue. While the Brother Support site helped resolve the first issue, it was not for the second.

1 Month and Already Broken

Only 1 month in use and already broken. Called Brother for Warranty and HORRIBLE! TWO HOURS on the phone making you try different things on the printer to FINALLY tell you ok we will send you a REFURB! Now the problem is it's been several days and no tracking no confirmation for ticket or trouble. Would never buy another brother printer again.

Very slow. Toner leaks. Image quality is abysmal. Overall, does not meet the needs of a small/medium sized business.

Purchase 3 MFC machine because of the features I read online. The machine has the bells and whistles but functionality is very poor. Works great for printing 1 or 2 documents. But for my business and needing to print in multiples both color and black&white, machine hangs up keep saying "processing data". Even when trying to delete from the printer it hangs up with "Deleting Data" and never clear the cach. It printed the same document all night over and over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than so-o-o many

Historically I have worked in "corporate world" using commercial grade multi-functional (usually leased) high-end type machines for an office environment. Being a small business, we do NOT lease therefore we need to buy what we need. Had a different manufacturer product and got almost four years out of it. Was disappointed from the beginning that machine was complicated to operate. Our new Brother MFC-L8610CDW acts and functions more like the commercial machines I am use to using. Smooth scans, no matter what the original thickness is (4 year machine hung 50% of the time scanning 3-part documents, it did not like the thickness.)
I would recommend this to a friend!
