Very sharp printing. Crumples envelopes

I have one Brother printer that does a perfect job with envelopes. My two higher cost machines crumple them. I print a fair amount of postage so this is a disappointment.

Slow to start printing, QBP check print problems

This unit is much slower to start printing that my prior office printers. Once it is set to the quiet mode the sound level is OK. One aggravation I have not found a solution to is getting checks to print from the MP feeder. I have tried a dozen different suggestions and QBP checks try to print horizontally. I would have returned this if I could have for this reason.

An Excellent Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this printer for a couple of years and absolutely love it. The only issue is that it does not duplex scan. Other than that one issue, it an absolute workhorse ready to print anyway we want, scan and fax. It makes the office run much smoother!

Good printer but no great

As a printer the printouts are great. The speed of printing is not the fastest medium sized print jobs of < 50 pages take quite a long time to complete the printing. The document scanner does not handle duplex document automatically. For a printer of this size the paper tray should hold a full ream of paper which it does not, which means for a busy office a lot of paper fills are needed.
