Printer worked fine it’s not so great at pictures!

Never ever got the number of pages the toners said!

We understand your Brother HL-L8260CDW cartridges did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. Love this printer

Recently purchased this laser printer as a replacement for a HP Color Laserjet. After nearly a month of home/small office usage, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The printer responds very quickly, has duplex printing and has not had any paper jams/misfeeds that were frequently seen on the HP. Output has been very good and my wife, a realtor, loves it. The previous printer would have issues reconnecting if a laptop went into sleep/suspend.
It was always a crap shoot if the HP would show up on our phones for printing. This Brother laser has been perfect and always available.

Really not what I hoped

Was really excited to get my first brother printer, but it's actually been quite disappointing. The print quality is pretty nice, but the wireless connection is finnicky -- it often drops data when transferring the file to the printer, resulting in very strangely missing data on the print itself. The multimedia tray also doesn't really work; the way it tries to roll the paper into the printer just doesn't actually move the paper inwards. If I manually push the paper in at a steady, slow pace, it'll take it, but that's really not a solution.

Worthless money pit

I bought this as a replacement printer for another brother printer. We love brother printers in our office because we could reset the toner errors and keep using the full cartridges and not waste money. This model has that feature removed so you HAVE to buy new cartridges or the printer refuses to work at all. So I wasted a very significant amount of money and now will look for a new brand that doesn’t steal my money.

The printer jammed the very first time I used it. It only works if I feed one sheet at a time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Dan, the machine is designed to work well with most types of xerographic and bond paper. However, some paper variables may have an effect on print quality or handling reliability. Always test samples of paper before purchasing large quantities to ensure desirable performance. Store paper in its original packaging and keep it sealed. Keep the paper flat and away from moisture, direct sunlight, and heat. Wire the printer direct….

Way to complicated to do wireless. When we get kick off network; that happens a lot, you have to uninstall then reinstall the printer. Pinter quality is outstanding, but not worth the hassle .

Nice looking and quiet printer

A friend has this machine and recommended it as it used less ink and very quiet when printing, had a HP for years but it used VERY expensive ink supplies. Will be replacing our other printers with this model but with copy and scan features.
I would recommend this to a friend!
