A bit disappointed

After loading the driver a number of time the printer worked well. The paper feeder arrest lid is small, it held about 20 -40 pages, the rest fly onto the floor. The pages were numbered so I was able to sort the book after a hour or more. I purchased a extra paper tray that is not recognized by the printer as tray 2 nor tray?? after I reloaded the parameters from the face plate. I just no second tray.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Duplex quite working

Printer worked well for a few months and then the duplex printing feature refused to work. Computer repair man downloaded updated software tested it and duplex is working well. Printer works well when able to do douhle side printing.l

this was a replacement for my older Brother laser printer, the replacement parts for the old printer were more expensive than buying a new printer. such a deal!

Quick & Quiet!

This is my third color laser printer and the best so far. Front loading tray is great for envelopes or odd size paper, i.e, printing a single page legal size paper. No need to change main paper tray. The monitoring software only shows ink levels, if it also showed statistics like the number of pages printed both overall and per toner cartridge, page count for the imager, etc. I would have rated this printer a five.

Very slow spooling

Purchased this to be used as a receipt printer to upgrade from an older model because of it's advertised fast printing speed, Ended up being a downgrade as I can literally count slowly to 10 from the time I click "print" to the time it actually starts printing. Meanwhile, my customer is staring at me wondering what's taking so long. 8 year old printer would start printing almost immediately. Tried changing settings on the new one but nothing helps. Just very slow to spool. Print quality is fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast and dependable

Much faster than our Canon and it has yet to jam. My wife is a teacher who had to work from home due to Covid. We got tired of the Canon eating through ink cartridges and jamming. Very fast, no jams, and less expensive toner!

GOOD FOR TEXT, BUT...

If you need a printer to print good quality text, at good print speeds, and reasonably priced for a laser, this be the one for you. BUT, if your needing to print areas of solid color, screened backgrounds, photos... this printer is terrible! Streaks all throughout photos and solid color areas, uneven color, "spattered" color; very disappointed in the print quality of this printer. Thought i could get away from the dreaded printer streaks of inkjets by getting a laser, but this printer is worse at streaking than any ink jet I have ever owned. At least with the ink jet I could run a few cleaning cycles and get rid of the streaks, but with this laser there's nothing to do. So unless you are just printing text, or love having streaks all over in your prints, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF JUNK!
