Love this printer

Recently purchased this laser printer as a replacement for a HP Color Laserjet. After nearly a month of home/small office usage, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The printer responds very quickly, has duplex printing and has not had any paper jams/misfeeds that were frequently seen on the HP. Output has been very good and my wife, a realtor, loves it. The previous printer would have issues reconnecting if a laptop went into sleep/suspend.
It was always a crap shoot if the HP would show up on our phones for printing. This Brother laser has been perfect and always available.

Great machine. Have issues getting devices to print wirelessly tho. Havent yet figured out how to make it print double sided thats not on the short end (despite the setting calling for the long end.)

We understand your Brother HL-L8260CDW cartridges did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. Nice, affordable color laserjet printer.

Very dependable. Wi-Fi is a little complicated. My only complaint is feeding envelopes into the front tray, and during the process of being pulled into the printer and somewhere along the way, the envelope has gets wrinkled along the bottom, probably between rollers.

Works great with Apple products

The printer works great. I am using it with “Air Print “ only. From sending it to the printer to actually printing is very quick. I think it’s 3 or 4 times faster than the Xerox it replaced. Print quality and duplex printing are excellent. My only criticism is enabling Wi-Fi on my network was not at all intuitive. I had to find a video on the Brother web site to help. I installed no software to use printer in my Apple environment.

Very Effective Printer
