Basic small office printer

This printer is fast, but only after it starts. It may take almost a full minute to start printing sometimes. But, the color is great, the speed is above average once started, and the ink seems to last much longer than our old Canon.

We just started doing monthly in-house mailings. Yes, snail mail. The printer is performing wonderfully. I would definitely recommend it.

It's tricky with the Internet

I do like the crisp printed pages. It doesn't always connect to the Internet when I am sending a page, still trying to figure out what is up with that. Eventually does print, but weird how it doesn't connect every time. I wish it came with a printed owner's manual.

No Frills, Just Great Color Laser Printer

I've owned literally dozens of printers over the decades; from cheap ink jets to thermal wax transfer units to elaborate, wide-carriage dye sublimation printers. I've owned feature-rich all-in-ones that held great novelty for ten minutes then went largely underutilized for the duration of their lifespan in my office.
After years of experience with negotiating the gauntlet of REAL WORLD printers needs - great, usable features without high wear components or exorbitant supply and maintenance costs I've come to appreciate a 'no frills', solid product like this Brother color laser. Intuitive, low-maintenance, problem-free, strong and capable where it should be with stunning, top shelf output when you want it. It makes my all-time top purchase list.
