Beautiful color prints

This product is used in a small office. So far we like it a lot. Easy to set up and use and the print quality is beautiful.

Fast printer

I bought this for my classroom. Needed to be able to print evelopes for parents and stuff for my class. This printer you can print up to 10 evelopes at a time. Wish I would have known that before the I bought the model below this one. Makes my power flicker and shuts down my computer when I use it because it draws a lot of electricity. Could be because I had other items also plugged in or it could be an electrial issue in my home however got it to work once I had a back up battery installed. It is fast and when it does too much it takes it's own little cooling off breaks then gets back to work. Wish I could do more than 10 envelopes at a time but this is way better than the model below it which only did one at a time was tedious to feed them thru. Now if I can print my 3x5 index cards like it says I can then it'll be so totally worth it. Images are clear and color looks good. Does labels well without accidentally peeling them.

For the most part the print quality is good; however, I have paper handling issues. Sometimes it will feed 3 or 4 sheets of paper at one time. I've tried different settings to no avail. Also, envelopes come out wrinkled unless I flip the levers in the back for printing them, but then I get a noticeable crease on one side when printing letter size paper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Goes into a deep sleep. Never wakes up.

Printer will not come out of deep sleep mode without cycling power. Overall the printer works well. I've been searching the Brother website for help. It's pretty lousy. The included manuals have no reference to deep sleep. I'd turn it off if I could. Overall the printer is ok. This Sleep thing is pretty irritating. I'd pick another printer.

Hi, I'm glad to hear the printer works well. I apologize the website was not helpful. If the machine is in Deep Sleep Mode for certain length of time, based on your model and settings, the machine will go into Power Off Mode automatically. The machine does not go into Power Off Mode when the machine is connected to a network or has secure print data in the memory. Love it except when it doesn't duplex correctly

Not sure it the problem is within the printer or the program sending the data but sometimes when I print duplex (flip on long side) - it still prints like I have selected print duplex flip on short side.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a very nice printer. It supports native AirPrint, prints duplex, and is a very nice color laser printer. It replaced a previous version of a similar printer...which lasted much longer than expected!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good color laser -- except it wrinkles envelopes

The HL-L8260CDW was a nice little color laser printer. Great speed and nice color -- except we could not get it to print our 6x9 booklet envelopes without wrinkling them.
