Great Adjunctive Tool In Obtaining Optimal Oral Health

I am a Registered Dental Hygienist who recently started using the Phillips Airflosser as part of my homecare routine. I had seen the Airflosser at dental conventions for years but always felt a little skeptical about the unit delivering adequate and thorough proximal debridement between the teeth compared to actual floss, so I never pursued interest. What changed my interest was a recent "Lunch & Learn" provided by a Phillips Sonicare educator, who delivered substantial evidence to prove the positive results and benefits of Airflosser use. So I went ahead and ordered my Professional Trial Unit. I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! I believe the benefits of this unit is good for all sorts of people with all sorts of conditions. Teens in ortho, those who prefer a "floss" alternative, the elderly who have trouble with dexterity issues, and the list goes on. I like the invigorating feel of my gums after use of both the Airflosser and Sonicare electric toothbrush and it lasts all day, throughout the day. Since I now use this regularly in my homecare routine, I am better able to explain the recommendation to my patients. My patients have been excited to use the Airflosser as well and Our office is excited to have them available for patient purchase.
Pros: effective easy to use, adaptable to all areas of the mouth, easy to use, great for everyone, helps control plaque bacteria, helps keep gums in great shape, promotes excitement in homecare routine, feels good refreshing and invigorating to gums
Cons: water drips down handle a little, water dispenser holds enough for just one arch

This is my second Sonic Air Flosser. I prefer the first air flosser's "tip", The new tip cannot be directed as well; and sometimes requires 2 or 3 attempts to dislodge a piece of food. The earlier, more focused tip seemed to do a better job of dislodging small food particles!

OK basically this product pushes a blast of air between your teeth with micro droplets of water or mouthwash. It is fairly powerful but doesn't take out stubborn residue stuck between your teeth unless you position it just right. It doesn't make a big mess with spray like other water floss systems. This is the best thing about it. It will floss pretty well where there are no problems but where there are you will need to get out the string.
Pros: doesn't make a mess
Cons: doesn't blast out stubbron particals

It worked for a little while, then nothing. I was really disappointed. I have sonicare toothbrush and it's had a few problems still works. My daughter like using it but I can't figure out why it won't work charge just faulty engineering

Both the wife and I have used this product for several years and have been very satisfied having used it. Even our dentist has remarked how improved our teeth have been each visit we make to his office for routine exams and cleanings. Gum health and overall cleanliness of our teeth can certainly be attributed to the use of the Air Floss......

Floating on Air Floss

I was so intrigued by this product and tired of using the standard plastic toothpicks for flossing. My friend got one and recommended to me. So I figured that I could not do any worse. Greatly surprised when it arrived. The ease and convenience of usage overwhelmed me. The mouth feels cleanly refreshed afterwards. I use it twice to three times a day and only on the first button which means one spray at a time. This is all I need really since it gets the job done. A nice adder to my already growing family of dental items. My sister also got one and she loves it! A product well worth the money.
Pros: easy to use, very simply to clean, gets the job done
Cons: there are none for me
