Great product, but …………

I wore off already two, they have an active life of about 2 years of daily use, than it stops never to start up again. After that I used the "Ultra" for a while, but that one is not strong enough. This one gives one strong blow as the Ultra gives more soft blows. For some people the best, but I need the strong blow as the Ultra doesn't remove all it should.
Pros: strong water/air blow, cleans well, the dentist is very satisfied since i started
Cons: relatively short life.

BEST FLOSSING METHOD OUT THERE TODAY

I have owned and used this Air Flosser for the past two years and can honestly tell you it is a fantastic product. I learned about it after purchasing a Phillips Sonic Toothbrush which I have also had for three years with no problems. The Air Flosser has helped me greatly with my periodontal gum disease. The last time I went in for my dental cleaning, I was completely taken back when the hygienist said that my pockets were not receding and they were getting smaller. I was completely taken back and asked her if she was sure and she rechecked the charts with present measurements and said yes they were shrinking. I have never had that experience before using this Air Flosser. I used to floss occasionally the conventional way and found it was difficult to reach the back teeth and did not look forward to doing it. Now, with the Air Flosser, I enjoy the convenience and the speed of getting a professional clean mouth and gum line in my own home every day. I have not had any issues with the Air Flosser and have even traveled with it. It always works...I use just plain tap water and leave it on the charging base. I do empty the remaining water and leave the water door flap open so that the inside water chamber can completely dry out before the next usage. It's a bit of an investment, but it will be worth it for you if you have an issue with flossing and gum disease.
Pros: convenient and easy to use., very effective.

Not an improvement

I had the former version and when it stopped working, I wanted to replace it. I didn't realize that there and been a change in design. I preferred the old head, and am sad it's not interchangeable. I'd had good results with the first model. I hope I get the same response from my dental hygienist when I go for my next appointment.
Pros: larger filling opening and reservoir.
Cons: new head design

Great flosser but bad nozzle attachment.

I've had the Philips AirFloss for about 8 months. It works exceptionally well, except the nozzle doesn't remained attached to the handle well. The nozzle either partially pops out, whereby spraying liquid everywhere, or the nozzle shoots totally out of the handle with a little force. A major inconvenience! In order to counter the nozzle problem, you must constantly hold the nozzle with your free hand. If it wasn't for this design problem, I'd wholeheartedly recommended the AirFloss.
Pros: blasts food/plaque from between teeth very well.
I am very happy with my Philips Sonicare AirFloss Interdental/Rechargeable AirFlosser. My original one died on me after 2 yrs. but I had the extra 6 month coverage that Philips offered when I purchased the first one so I was covered. Philips replaced both the handle and charger free of charge which was great. I use it daily.
Pros: philips replaced free leaking handle on 1st one.
Cons: the first one leaked at the filling station door
Product has a short life, up side is Philips has replaced the broken ones up to now, I've had four quit working and on my fifth now, only use once a day. Does the job so I keep using

Dies in Every 6 months

I feel quite clean and fresh in my mouth and teeth after using. However, the machine dies every 6 months. I am so tired of going to replace it again and again. Having the machine becomes a nightmare, cuz you won't know when it's broken again.
Pros: feels quite clean in my mouth
Cons: dies very frequently!!!!!!

I would not have purchased this product had I known the way it actually operated. I use it (because I paid so much for it) along with traditional string floss. I noticed that the food does not dislodge from the teeth properly. sorry I purchased it. however, I love the sonicare toothbrush.
