Seems to clean well between teeth, but the tip construction is questionable. After I had a tip failure the company sent 2 replacement tips free of charge. Subsequently, one of the replacement tips has failed. Both delaminated.

Not sure it's as effective as flossing.

I don't know that this product provides the benefits of traditional flossing, and it gets a little messy.
Pros: easier to use between back teeth than regular flow
Cons: hard to clean/dry out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far this one is great. The original one had a bad O/O switch.

The original one had an intermittent on/off switch, after about a month of use. I suspect it got water in the switch (use it in the shower). Anyway, Phillips sent out a replacement immediately (no questions ask and no cost to me) and it has worked perfectly.
One design suggestion might be to increase the reservoir capacity.

I cannot speak highly enough about this air flosser. After years of hearing my dentist say I was not flossing well enough and high numbers on all of my dental exams with lots of deep pockets and bleeding,,,now my dentist tells me that whatever I am doing to continue doing it. The only change I have made is that I am now using the air flosser. I do not know why it is not heavily advertised. It is a wonder product. If it were ever discontinued I do not know what would happen to my gums and teeth. I merely use it once a day. Sonicare peeps...you have a gold mine here. You need to let people know about it.
