To really rate this product I will have to see what my oral hygienist thinks when I go for my next appointment. I have two bridges and it is important to keep the space under them clean. I think it takes as much time to use the Airfloss as to use regular floss. I have actually been alternating between the Airfloss and regular flossing. Hard to know if it does a better job or not. I kind of like it - it does feel clean after use, but there is no way that I can know whether it works better than floss. Actually it came with a Sonicare brush I purchased. I don't think I would have paid the regular price for it, at least not without some conclusive data that it is superior to regular flossing.....

I had a problem when my first one quit working, but it was promptly replaced. Thanks to your wonderful employees, I didn't have to go long without the Air Floss. My hygienist on my last visit was very impressed with the results of my use of the Air Floss. In fact I wasn't aware of the Air Floss until noticing one on display in her office. I asked her about it, and her recommendation is the reason that I bought the first one.

This product was recommended by my son who has used the Philips Sonicare AirFloss Interdental product for the last year. He said he felt he had better dental checkups because he had been using the Philips AirFloss device. On his recommendation I bought it for my grandson. He does not seems to mind flossing every night with the AirFloss as he did with regular flossing.

I grew up in an area without fluoride in the drinking water, so by the time I reached my teens I had terrible teeth. During my freshman year I decided to see a new dentist. His motto was "Only pull a tooth as a last resort". I now have crowns (or caps) on most of my teeth, and the dental floss gets stuck in between my teeth. My new Phillips Sonicare Airfloss does the trick! I use it twice a day, it never gets "stuck", and it massages my gums. I am just sorry I didn't purchase one sooner!
Pros: very easy to use, massages the gums, can be used with mouth wash

The 1st Sonicare Airfloss lasted just over a year before it clogged. They cheerfully replaced it under the warranty.
It seems to be a bit too powerful, causing gums to bleed. You need to be very careful not to hit the gums with the water force. Also, careful not to have tongue behind the teeth you are cleaning.
It's like a power washer for your teeth.
Handle with care.

Could not get the door to stay closed to the reservoir

When I bought this pik there was another one that looked like it had been brought back and after buying one and trying it now I know why. The door to the reservoir will not stay closed to keep the water in. Taking it back and getting a different brand.
