Works OK but battery life is not good

Battery life between recharge started at rate of about every two weeks. Within eleven months, the battery required a recharge every two days or so.
I do like the electric toothbrush though. I bought a new one with a different type of battery (Li-Ion).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's not the Sonicare I know!

I have used Sonicare and loved it for many years, and I've had several versions through the years. I was disappointed that this version did not have the power and intensity that the other ones did . I bought it because I just needed the device, and did not need any peripherals. I am using this one, but I'm really not happy with it.

Hello,
We are sorry that you are not completely satisfied with the performance of your new Sonicare. The Daily Clean 2100 comes with the Easystart feature activated, which is probably why you felt that the vibrations are less powerful than your previous Sonicare. The Easy-start feature gently increases power over the first 14 brushings to help you get used to brushing with the Philips Sonicare toothbrush. To deactivate Easy-start, press and hold the power on/off button for 2-3 seconds. You hear 1 beep and the battery level indicator lights up yellow to indicate that the Easy-start feature has been deactivated.

Please let me me know if it is intended to have a space between brush head and arm? Looks faulty but maybe that's intended to be that way.

Hi, thank you for reviewing the DailyClean 1100 toothbrush. We'd like to inform you that a small gap between the brush head and toothbrush handle is normal, even necessary. The head must be free to move in order to deliver the vibrations needed to clean your teeth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to test it out and provide a review. Here are the positives- long lasting battery, smooth consistent operation, medium bristle strength, and easy to use. The negatives are - only one speed/motion setting and I feel like the brush size it comes with is too small. Overall I think it is a good product for oral hygiene. Depending on the price it could deliver great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using this toothbrush. It is very powerful and seems to clean my teeth well but it feels a little too powerful. I wish it had an option for multiple speeds. The battery life is great as well as the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothbrush comes packaged with a charging station and a brush head. It vibrates every 30 seconds to let you know when to move the brush. sometimes I found it difficult to remove food in my molars and needed to grab my manual brush at least once a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery holds a charge as expected based on product details. No problems with gum irritation and the timer works well as a brushing reminder. BUT no way to know if the battery is low until the item stops working and beeps.

Fresh from the dentist clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Philips DailyClean 1100 power toothbrush and my teeth have never felt cleaner. It has a high intensity vibration and tickles my mouth a little but the way my mouth and teeth feel after is incredible. I like that it doesn't take long to charge and use once your ready to brush your teeth. Once it's charged you simply press the button and it starts right up. It's lightweight and easy to replace the brush heads. I wish I had one of these sooner, my teeth feel a thousand times cleaner than when I go to the dentist. I will continue to recommend to my friends and family. ( I received the product for free as part of a product test.)
