Kind of a bummer

Bought this two months ago, does not work consistently. Often the coffee pours down around the edge into the waste bucket, other times it does not brew and gives red error light. Seems like it should be easier to close with a single motion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Short life..... no warranty after 12 months.

Died after 14 months, just after the warranty ended. So it was trash and I was only offered a discount to buy a new machine. There web site offered similar discount to all buyers, so I wasn't impressed. I would not buy again as it seems many have similar problem. If they believe in there product, offer a 2 year warranty so the buyer has some reassurance when buying it. Or fix the machine so it lasts several years like you would expect an expensive coffee pot to.

Don’t recommend!!!

I really wish I would’ve heeded the bad reviews on this one. I didn’t even get 10 cups of espresso out of it before it stopped working and even while it was working it leaked water everywhere! I’ve tried troubleshooting it every which way but it just gives an orange/red light and won’t produce coffee. I bought it directly from the site but its definitely been more than a year and out of warranty so I just have to cut it as a L. Most of the other models were cheaper but I was trying to save on counter space. I love nespresso just wish I would’ve went with a different model.

Was given this as a gift and after about 2 years it started making a popping noise and started smoking. Buyer beware!!! I called Nespresso and it’s not in warranty. Machines don’t last.

Not worth the price

I had mine for 2 years and then it broke. It was good while it lasted but i would not repurchase.

Leaks after every use!

Machine leaks during and after every use. I've tried to pinpoint the source of this leak for ages - looked over machine for hairline cracks, scanned water reservoir for chips, etc. - and cannot figure it out. Would be a four- or five-star review if I could get a full pour, but I digress...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased VertuoPlus Deluxe with extreme happiness. I took the machine and coffee on vacation as I could not stand a day without my morning cup. I have tried a few different coffees with difficulty to mention my favorite as I am loving them all. So happy I was introduced to a Nespresso by my cousin!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the second Nespresso machine I've owned, and it has been disappointing at the least. It has been glitchy from the very beginning and completely broke in less than 2 years.
