I hate this thing

I will never buy another Nespresso Machine. I have had this machine less than a year and it has been a ridiculous pain in the behind. It get's stuck in descaling mode every single time I have to descale. I mean seriously it shouldn't be this complicated just to clean the stupid thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine, until it isn't.

I loved this machine and the coffee however the machine is now leaking. I have used this machine less than once per week, maybe 150 times total, in the 2.5 years I have had it. I have reached out to customer service about the short life of their product and have not heard back. Sad because it is good coffee, but you couldn't use this machine daily for 1 year. All descaling and cleaning was done regularly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great if you only want it for a year

coffee tastes good and its really convenient…for about a year. and then the machine stops reading the capsules, and you have to waste SO many capsules just to get your cup of coffee.

Terrible quality machines

I am on my second of these machines and now both have malfunctioned. My first started leaking, then stopped working completely. Now my second won’t brew and flashes red at me. I’ve tried everything. I maintain them carefully, using filtered water and descaling regularly. They are not built to last. I won’t be buying another. It’s a shame because I love the coffee and the convenience.

Leaking machine

I have had my Virtuaplus machine for less than 2 weeks and it’s is leaking from the bottom of the machine. Coffee is great. But I am not enjoying the leak.

Completely broken after 1.5 years of use

This machine does not hold up. Mine is completely broken after 1.5 years of use - does not light up, I cannot even get the top to close. I have to buy a replacement. This is after months of leaking that I have not been able to remedy. Conveniently, it only has a 1 year warranty.
I sing the praises of Nespresso coffee to everyone but the company has a serious hurdle here with the poor quality machines. Please make a machine that lasts!

Good….until it wasn’t!

Well….like some relationships, this one started well, but then dramatically took a turn for the worse. I’m on my 2nd machine. After a few months of usage, they begin to leak out of the bottom. Nespresso replaced the first one. Now, the 2nd one is doing the same. It’s obviously a design flaw that they fail to address given they’re still selling these.

Great at first! Lasts 1 year - very noisy also

I’ve had many Nespresso machines throughout the years. Overseas I always had the original line, same for my entire family. We’ve never had any issues and we are Nespresso customers basically since they first came out. I now live in the US for 3 years and my third Vertuo line machine just stopped working. I guess either the Vertuo line is horrible or the machines sold in the US are lower quality. A coffee machine is not supposed to be disposable. And there are 2 years warranty for most machines, they offer only 1 yr for Vertuo Plus, does that mean they expect it to brake shortly after a year?
I would recommend this to a friend!
