Unreliable

This machine is such a disappointment. I’ve had it for more than a year. It’s cute, but it is very unreliable. It often takes several attempts and even several wasted pods to get it to brew. And literally all I’m doing is opening, closing, un-plugging, adjusting the water filter, and then for some unexplained reason, it will eventually brew. For a while it was brewing the wrong amount, but I figured how to reset that, so that’s improved, at least. I’m a big Nespresso fan, but I do not recommend this machine. The Vertuo Evoluo was a much better machine for a good 7 or 8 years before it gave up, and then I made the mistake of getting this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sucks

Most finicky machine ever. At least once a week my machine will blink red that the water reservoir is empty when it is full and secured in place, takes forever to get it working again and no rhyme or reason to it. Not to mention the money wasted on pods that have been punctured but won’t brew and I end up having to buy a coffee anyways.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

RED LIGHT RED LIGHT

Machine was a gift. Enjoyed initially......then the red light of doom plagued me, even after working my way through the incomprehensible blinking light instructions. Sad part is the lights don't tell you it's time to descale....it shuts down until you do so. Note: I am rating the machine, not the quality of the coffee when it's working properly

Great Coffee maker with many options

My husband prefers the bigger cups of coffee, I prefer the double espresso and when my mom is in town I can make us a carafe. But no matter what way we make our coffee, I can always trust that it's going to be a good one.

Avoid this model

We bought this two years ago. Only use filtered water and it is just my spouse and I using it (2 cups/day). We have the dreaded flashing red light, will not brew, tried all the steps with descaling, cleaning sensor etc. Ordering a different model.

Expected Better Longevity From Nespresso

I'm not one to leave reviews, but after having the Vertuo Next for almost 3 years, I felt compelled to share my experience. The machine recently stopped working entirely. I made two calls with Nespresso Support to confirm it was indeed a machine failure and not user error. We received this as an engagement gift, so it was disappointing to see it fail so soon. While we enjoyed using it during the time it worked, I expected much better durability and quality from a Nespresso product.

Worth every penny!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had my vertuo next for about a month and I LOVE it. Best investment I’ve ever made. The coffee is delicious. I love the double tap feature that allows a coffee pod to become a double shot. I’m beyond pleased with my Nespresso
