design flaws/bad technology

ZERO STARS!! top button stopped working after brewing ONLY 20 cups. I didn’t even get to use all of my pods before it was completely useless. brand new fresh out of the box stopped working after 20 cups and cannot be replaced because of warranty issues. i’m SO sad don’t buy this or you’ll be sad too

Most Nespresso machines have at least a one-year warranty, with a lifetime a lifetime of free troubleshooting, via our toll-free number 800-562-1465. We recommend calling Nespresso for assistance to speak with a machine expert who can assist you with your machine. Bad machine - don't buy!

This machine is just simply. bad. I've had it for a little more than a year, already had a replacement, and it still does not work. It requires tons of attention, and every time it breaks due to a new issue. I spend more time on the phone with the support than I do drinking coffee. My brother has the same machine, and, alas, he has issues all the time. I had the original machine for years, and never had problems with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful

I bought this machine a year ago and it has never worked well. a month in it stopped working. I was able to get maybe 10 cups of coffee and wasted a sleeve of pods trying to fix it. Save yourself the trouble and do not buy it. The coffee is so good when it works but the pods are overpriced and the machine is low quality. Would highly recommend looking at different brands for an espresso machine.

Broken in under a year

Died right after warranty.

After a year and a half the machine died. Yes technically outside of the warranty period so we are owed nothing but having to buy a new one after so little time. I’d rather support a company that trusts their products and supports the customer.

Barely a year :(

This has been a wonderful machine till month 14 hit and it's dead...ugh! Will not run only gets hot and the RED light is all I get to look at. It won't spin to descale, clean or make coffee. I am so frustrated because only 2 people use it and should last for years!

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Doesn’t last, not worth the money

This is the second Nespresso Vertuo Next that I have purchased in two years. They work great for about a year and then just stop one day - even with regular cleaning and descaling. I won’t be buying a 3rd machine to have the same problem in a year.
