Second machine to break!

This is our second machine and the second one just stopped working like the first one. We clean it regularly. We did the descaling and everything and it’s only a year old! We love it and the coffee it makes but the last two have not lasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pick Another Model

We've had it for 18 months, hasn't worked well from the beginning, have descaled it regularly. On the 5th try it might work. It fires up but doesn't brew the coffee. I tried it 15 times today and threw it in the garbage. It has this many 1 ratings for a reason. Nespresso doesn't care either, I've tried to call.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frustrating and high maintenance machine!!!

I was given this machine as a gift only two years ago and I was so excited. Unfortunately, it stopped reading the capsules only a few months after owning it. I had to jump through multiple hoops to get to working again (rinse, factory reset, unplug, wipe down, sing to it, etc.). Over the past two years this issue happened every few weeks. I was meticulous about cleaning, descaling, and keeping software up to date. When it works it’s great but it is the most frustrating machine I have ever owned. I had to call support twice. The last time they were very unhelpful and wanted me to use a brand new capsule to brew to troubleshoot (sure I’ll throw more money in the trash!). Before this machine, I had a Keurig for 12 years without issue! I’ll be going back to Keurig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a housewarming gift. I love how easy it is to use. The quality of the coffee/espresso is good, I do wish there was more variety; or that some seasonal flavors were permanent (pistachio vanilla, coconut vanilla).

Great until it isnt

I descale and maintained this machine for close to a year. The past few weeks it has been giving me issues. I can’t descale it for every cup I brew but the app wants me to. Today it totally stopped working. Reset reconnect etc etc. it’s in the garbage. I love the coffee this particular machine didn’t last as long as the pop model I gifted 2 yrs ago still working great today. It also see,s like this model didn’t give as hot of a cup as that pop does. I can’t go back to horrible drip coffee! Percolating is time consuming, limited flavors and gets burned tasting fast. I’m locked into this now, Ordered the ‘Up’ model today. I wish this one wasn’t such a junk it was nice looking and space saving. Fits nicely in a 13 gallon trash bag now!
