A bad Christmas gift

I received this as a Christmas gift too my surprise it doesn’t even work. I followed all the instructions and watched the videos still my machine won’t do a thing.m
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your machine has a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting via our toll-free number 800-562-1465 or via live chat from our website, when you select the “Need Help?” popup, then select “Machine Assistance.” We recommend the first time use steps with hot tap water in the water tank to remove any air bubble trapped in the water line which can prevent flow. We recommend reaching out to us to speak with a machine expert to create your account, register your machine, and troubleshoot to find a solution. If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, we have repair and replacement options available via our Assistance Service Program, even when your machine is out of warranty. Expected better

Lasted about 1 years, now it's extremely loud when brewing also the coffee is not hot.

Don't Do It

When it works, it's great - but hat's if it works. This machine has been a nightmare, and of course, outside of the warranty window. The mechanism that locks/unlocks the lid where you put the pod becomes almost impossible to move, slide, or use. We are both young adults in our 20s and at times we physically could not brute force the thing open or closed. A mystery leak has shown up, which pours coffee into where the pod bin is stored, but doesn't go in the pod bin, it leaks all over the bottom of the machine and your counter. Finally, it stopped heating the coffee all the way - the last coffee I made was warm at best. I'm done with it. Apparently this machine has known issues and Nespresso continues to sell it - shame on you all.

Not efficient - Gets Stuck in Descaling

Machine gets stuck in descaling mode each time. I dread descaling because I know it's always going to take hours to do it. I always have to call the support center. They are helpful but it's time consuming to do it every time every 3 months. This process should be 20 mins and takes 2 hours every time.

Love my nespresso

My machine works great! Was so easy to set up and I save so much money on coffee now that I am making coffee at home. The coffee tastes amazing and is actually strong. I also love that I can mail back my old pods so they aren’t just getting thrown out. I also have been getting the Caramel Starbucks Pods! Highly recommend.
