Even cooking and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just did a total redo of all of my appliances and selected this cooktop and downdraft. It is easy to operate and the heat is very even - it is also easy to clean - So far I really like it

36” downdraft cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just completed my remodeled inside of my house. I was stressed because my old cooktop used to be 30” electric downdraft jenn air. Looking for a replacement for downdraft was not easy. So thrilled and happy when my son saw this kitchen aid 36” downdraft electric cooktop, I knew I had to change my cooktop trom 30 to 36. I’m so happy with this new cooktop cuz it has 5 burners with a large, 12” burner. I do a lot of cooking. At first I got a little paranoid with the glass cooktop cuz it’s my first time having it. I kept thinking I’m going to scratch the glass. Now I have to make sure to use the right scrubber and the cleaner. My next door neighbor saw my cooktop, and she loves it. She went and replaced her old electric downdraft with the same one I got.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Downdraft of Cooktop is a bit disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had my MODEL: KCED606GBL01/SERIAL: DB3206799 cooktop w/downdraft installed (about 3 weeks ago) but the downdraft speed never changes at low/medium/high so not sure if this is normal & the whistling makes it a louder system than it needs to be. The system was professionally installed to avoid any installation issues.
I created a video w/my iPhone but your site won't allow me to update it. It requires me to put it on YouTube...

Just installed this. Ventless isn't installed as I was told the wrong part.
That aside, cooked on it one time and the burner I used is scratched pretty significantly. For the cost that shouldn't happen. Our old cook top was at least 10 years old and had zero scratches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
