[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still getting used to the many features. Heats fast and evenly. I like the dual element feature. The only downside I have encountered is the venting system. The venting system will not draw steam from a tall pan or if pans are on the elements farthest away from the vent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The layout of the burners on the left side is much better. With the larger burner closer to the exhaust, smoke is pulled out better. Love the grease trap in the exhaust port. The temperatures of the burners are different from my previous cooktop, so there is an adjustment to be made. Good, fast heat. The downdraft does a great job of extracting the smoke. Nice simmer, but be careful with the setting. A small dial adjustment makes all the difference between a simmer and a low boil. Absolutely love the way the controls are protected from liquids and other stuff.

Problems with cooktop

As a Palisades fire victim, I purchased in July 2025 and just placed in service since we are close to moving back in our home. After ~3 uses, there are bubble-like defects showing under the surface of two of the burners. Just reaching out to Kitchenaid to see if they will do the right thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about switching from my old gas cooktop to electric but I am very happy that I did. It heats up quickly, is very versatile in burner element options and the down draft venting is very effective. It is much easier to clean.

Our new Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is replacing a modular, cartridge Jennair- 42 inch cooktop. Nice to have a true smooth top, that the old one did not have. It heats up very fast and has simmer, warming features that are all very nice. The style of the top is very pretty.

Great features on this new cooktop!

This model is different with the surface heating, even heating, ultra cooking heating which allows the temperature to be set exactly the way you want it to cook. It also has a melt or simmer feature. It cooks like a European cooktop! Food ready in minutes and cooked to perfection. Delicious food!!!! Excellent choice

POOR DESIGN!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I totally dislike my new cooktop. Everything about it is what I would call a poor design. The burners are too close to each other. The big burner is on the back of the cooktop (wrong). The knobs are in my way when I cook and the downdraft vent is very hard to clean. The burners are hard to control the heat and I burn most everything. Even if the heat setting is on Med. water still boils. The cooktop scars easily even with water drops. I have to use ajax to clear the marks. I still have my old cooktop out in my garage and I am seriously thinking about having it reinstalled and tossing the new one into the trash. I bet this review gets trashed too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
