[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cooktop was installed about a month ago. It has been difficult to adapt to it. Low is not the same on all burners. The burners do not cool fast enough from high to medium to low causing food to burn. I have to remove the pan from burner to a trivet so burner can cool. The space between burners is too narrow to fit small pans next to larger ones. The black top doesn’t look clean unless polished dry after using. The dials are not intuitive. I have to stop and consider what I’m doing so I don’t turn on the wrong burner. Some burners take longer to heat than others. It’s difficult to find the sweet spot from low to simmer. The user’s manual doesn’t help to understand the differences between each burner. Can I use Bon Ami or Bar Keeper’s Friend powder to clean the cooktop? The chemical cleaners cause allergic reactions in me, so I can’t use them. Why doesn’t your website offer video instructions on how to use and care for this appliance? Why don’t you include a complimentary cleaning kit with your product?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our 30 year old electric cooktop cracked we found that any new ones we looked at wouldn’t fit the cutout of the old one. Therefore, we had to change to a downdraft style which fit perfectly and has worked even better than expected. It looks great too. And with a little engenuity we were able to do install the new one ourselves.mcgiver
