[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in August and the ceramic top has gotten unglued from the frame and is lifting up on one side. This should not happen on an item this expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

KITCHENAID COOKTOP FEATURES

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used the cooktop for just over one month. We find it difficult to keep the black ceramic surface clean. Even when not in use, dust particles show up on the surface after a couple of days.
No instructions or explanation was in the Use and Care Guide about the 6" element or 10" element labeled Even-Heat and Even-Heat ULTRA, respectively. On Low heat, the 6"control is labeled (Even-Heat MELT and ULTRA LOW). The 10" control is labeled (Even-Heat SIMMER and ULTRA LOW). What does all this mean and how should we use these elements in cooking? We would appreciate a reply.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy with the induction downdraft cooktop with one exception. That exception is the downdraft equipment does take up a lot space right in the middle of our cabinet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would suggest a few things - if you do not plan on hooking this up to an external downdraft… you have to buy a set up to recirculate. Otherwise it just randomly blows air. I wish they would have mentioned needing more parts upon ordering because we found this out days before Thanksgiving.
One of the temp regulated burners really just does boiling hot. But it is FAST so that’s nice.
