I love this cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old, traditional, coil cooktop with this new 36" electric downdraft. There aren't many electric cooktops with a downdraft, which was concerning, but I love this model! I appreciate the different sized burners with specific heat settings. The down draft is very efficient and quiet. Clean up is is so easy!

Bigger cooktop

It is much more convenient for cooking for my family. It heats evenly. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Good Cooktop

Smooth Top Downdraft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace our 36” downdraft and found the Kitchenaid 36” downdraft would match perfectly with our Kitchenaid appliances. This unit requires a 40 amp service with larger wires than our 30 amp older unit. I upgraded the wires and can take full advantage of the 5 burners when needed. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I am in love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was installed a month ago. I bought my house 10 years ago, and had an old jennaire unit. I agonized about this decision for a few years before finally deciding on this unit. I could not be happier with my choice! The burners are fast, and the temperature control on this is incredible. The fan power on the downdraft is powerful, clearing any smoke quickly that the family chef may make (me, and I’m a great smoke maker lol). I am so happy that I purchased this unit. It cleans up quickly with the right materials, and it looks fantastic in my kitchen. I. Am. In. Love!

burner configuration difficult to figure out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The burner configuration is a bit ambigous and difficult to use multiple burners simulanteously. Downdraft not as effective as I had hoped and quite loud.
