Great charger for hiking and small power outages.

This simple charger has been really convenient for our hiking and camping trips as well as small power outages. It's small and works great for the price. If you are looking for something cheap to use while camping or hiking I would recommend the Guide 10 Plus.

This will take an iPhone 5s to about 80%. Was hoping for more! And to boot the output of the nomad 10 solar won't charge the device directly.

My iPhone 5 was down to 38%. Plugged in the Guide 10, and it quit charging at 51%. 13% recharge isnt even close to "1 smartphone charge" Was thinking of buying a Sherpa 50 or 100, but if they only charge 1/10th of their supposed "ratings" they aren't worth the price either. At least the solar panel charges my Rock Out Speakers....

I have owned this guide 10 plus for almost a year ...I just got another set of for battery's ... The other two I got with this battery pack . still work great .... Love this use it some times more than two times a day and with the nomad 7 its just way to cool power anytime .....

Nice for charging AAs and will charge devices but could not fully charge my smartphone while I was listening to music on it. I tend to use it more as a controller to charge my USB power pack with my solar panels.

Underpowered

This does not charge an iPhone. Nor an iPad. The GZ stick light I bought as a companion only stays lit for 30 minutes. I'm returning it to where I bought it. I tried for a month of car camping and backpacking before deciding.

i am running the latest operating system from apple, ios 8.4.
my ipad says that it does not recognize the guide 10.
what is the fix?
