For example, the drain pump gad to be replaced after 5 years, something the repairman said is very common due to plastic parts instead of metal parts. It's an expensive repair that should not have to happen.

I purchased this LG washing machine and dryer five years ago. The dryer started leaking within a few months (damaged my hardwood floors) and got fixed under warranty. Now the washing machine broke (rumbling noise when spinning and doesn't drain). I live in an apartment building with over 200 units and everybody says the machines break after about
4-5 years. Very disappointed and would not recommend this brand to anyone.

I’ve had the most difficult time being able to contact the right people and have someone out here to help with my repair. I’ve been without a washing machine for weeks now. The repair man has been out twice and I’m hoping when he comes back next he will have the right part and it’ll finally be fixed. Not a good experience.
