I bought my Breville 900VSS 3 yrs ago. 1rst one was defective. It was replaced at no cost. This one now will not toast nor heat up to over 325 degrees. I liked the oven very much when it worked.
I have owned two other Breville Toaster Ovens and have loved them, the new one I purchased is also great with one exception. It does not toast as nice as my previous ovens. Hopefully you will get this problem solved. Thanks for a great product.
1. It undercooks what most recipes state timewise, so we are constantly having to extend the time, especially with the air fryer. 2. Toasting bagels varies based on who made the bagel, but we keep using a 6 or 7 setting (the highest ones) because it chronically "undertoasts". 3. Like the rack listing on the door (quite helpful), but it would be more helpful to have it for when you open the door and have a listing on the inside of the door for when you want to insert a rack, etc. 4. Control Panel is easy to use.
I am slightly disappointed so far with tis product; for the amount we paid I was hoping for better than just average. Maybe the more we use it the higher of a rating I will give, but I am comfortable giving an "average" rating. Because it is only average I would not recommend it to friends (based on the cost and rating).
I just can't say enough good things about this oven !! The size is Perfect for Everything, that you would want to bake, toast, or Air FRY. They are a little Pricey, BUT ABSOLUTELY Worth it. We even bought one for our RV. Perfect for making Fresh French Fries,not those processed ones. Toast ,Baking cakes we even make our Tostada shells in it, than add our goods and Broil to melt the cheese. They are Amazing ,;We use ours Everyday The dials make everything so easy to understand

Burns out fast

Used it a moderate amount and have had 3 of these toaster ovens go bad within a 4-5 year period
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Oven While it Lasted. Buyer Beware

I loved this oven and never used my stove oven. Yesterday something happened to the function buttons and they stopped working. The start button turns on the oven but I can't adjust to the temperature or how I want to bake, roast, broil, or toast ect. I have had it for 3 years and the price I paid I thought for sure it would last longer then that. Don't think I will be buying another one .Right now I am upset.

the product is very good, I bought it about 6 months ago, but I was disappointed in terms of cleanliness, the inside is not non-stick as the manufacturer describes, it is not possible to clean the grease just using a sponge and soap, after several attempts I tried to use a product abrasive, but this damaged the inside of the oven. It is a pity that such a good and expensive product is difficult to clean. I am disappointed!
