The Smart Oven Air makes a terrific second oven; I like mine so much that I haven’t used my primary oven in weeks. The controls are intuitive, and the degree of control over each aspect of cooking is nuanced. The interior is spacious enough to bake cookies, a fairly big pizza or casserole, and the convection circulates heat more evenly than the cheaper countertop ovens I’ve owned. The Air Fry option is strong- one of the reasons I got it was to replace two appliances with one, and the Smart Air is the best of the three alternatives I’ve tried which most closely approaches the speed and searing effect of a dedicated air fryer. The interior also is the same width as a standard roll of aluminum foil, which you can wrap around the crumb tray for quick cleanups. Little touches, like the suggested rack positions etched into the glass of the door for baking, broiling, toast, etc, are welcome additions too. It’s unfortunate that its price is going to put off so many people who are in the market for a toaster oven, and if all you’re doing is toast or bagels, save your money. But if you use it every day and for as many different things as I do, you start to see the value really quickly.
This is my second Breville Smart Oven! My first one, I got many years out of it. That's why I came back for another, newer upgraded one. Definitely worth the money. I love my Breville Smart Oven Air!!
Easy to use and very versatile--from roasting a 12lb turkey for Thanksgiving to making toast for breakfast and everything in between. Does an excellent job.
I like my smart oven seems to run fine it cooks very nice and evenly I’ve only had it for three months and I read a lot of reviews about the fan going out so far so good with mine I would love to order some more baskets or the oven but they’re out of stock I’ve been trying for three months now
