I bought the Breville Smart Air Fryer Oven about 1 year ago. We use it daily and then there was a problem with the hinge and timer not counting down/stopping. We called into support, did some troubleshooting, and then it was RMA. Got a replacement and can't live without it.
I have had my Breville BOV900BSS since January 2022 and in the past 9 months i've experienced zero problems. without hyperbole i can say i use the Breville 6-7 days a week to prepare various meals. features i have used include bake, roast, toast, proof, both pizza modes, slow cook, reheat and dehydrate. the oven has been outstanding on most features. i will say the bake mode seems to burn the top crust on the 8 or 9 cakes i've baked, even with adjusting the temperatures lower by 25deg from what the recipes recommend. the only complaint i have about the BOV900BSS is, with the exception of the removable crumb tray, the inside is difficult to clean. around the heating elements on top and bottom it is especially difficult to maneuver a paper towel or cleaning cloth. other than that, this oven deserves the 5 star rating i've submitted. thank you Breville!
So far, we've made a roast chicken, chicken wings, toast, french fries, and reheated so many things we've lost count. Everything has turned out great so far. Very easy to use, we love the multitude of settings. So far, it hasn't been too difficult to clean, and can't wait to see what else we can cook with it.
I love mine but I’m still learning to use it. I’ve enjoyed it so very much. I wasn’t going to buy it because of cost but I’m glad I did!! I recommend it highly.
I have been using my Smart Oven Air Fryer for over 7 months. I use it exclusively. The only time I used my regular gas oven was to bake a large dish. The Smart Oven heats up to the desired temp quickly. Easy to use. Easy to clean. I chose this appliance for the air fryer feature. It is nice to have only one large appliance on the counter that will do all the baking/cooking tasks I need.
Start up select pizza let it run before using. 6 minutes left on the 20 minute burn in and the temperature of the left side and top reaches well over 135 degrees. If you accidentally touch the cabinet you’ll get a burn
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear of your experience. You'll notice in the oven's manual that we do advise against touching the hot surfaces. To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing pans, dishes and accessories such as the included broiling rack and roasting pan, that contain hot oil or other hot liquids.
