Our kids bought us the breville for the holiday and we LOVE IT! We’ve previously had the Breville toaster oven but it was not functioning properly. So I mentioned it to our kids and they were lovely enough to get it for us.
The smart oven is definitely an upgrade. I’ve used many of the features: air fryer; toasting; bagels; roasting and reheating. All do a great job.
Since it’s just my hubby and I most of the time, I like to use the Breville instead of my large oven. It’s perfect for most things that I cook.
I really enjoy this product and would recommend it!

I previously owned the Smart oven countertop model and liked it very much. I wanted a larger oven to use my 9X13 pans with handles and this oven does that. It is easy to use and has super convection & air fry features along with slow cook. Even though it takes up a little more counter space, all the features make it worth it.

We bought this about a month ago and just got around to using the air fryer on some chicken drumsticks which came out perfectly done and juicy. The more we use it the braver we get in trying new dishes and all of them turn out well. It is fun experimenting with various foods while using this beautiful unit.

Immediately after receiving and setting up my new 900 series Smart oven/air fryer last month, I noticed that the selector control was sticking and a bit too hard to turn. A phone call to Breville resulted in a prompt exchange of the oven for a new (not refurb) replacement.
My new oven has been working flawlessly although I have not yet been able to use every function. It looks great in my kitchen and has already relegated my built in oven to storage.

Good design, operates as expected - Be careful of exterior temperatures while in use.

The product design was very appealing. However, when we used the unit the top and left side was extremely hot. We measured 160 degrees, and this lasted during cooking and for 10-15 minutes after use. Unless the user has a designated space away from passing traffic I would recommend extreme caution in using this product. Especially if young children are present.

Thank you for your review. Yes, the oven can get very hot, as noted in the user's manual. We do advise using caution not to touch hot surfaces, and that close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.

Bought this a month ago, still trying to figure out why everything takes SO long to cook? Even toast toast takes about 8 minutes? I air fried some appetizers which should have taken 10-12 min took 25 min? And I’m preheating which takes forever as well. Why is this?

cleaning and cooking

i had the red Breville from Williams-Sonoma for 8 years and loved it. this year I bought the black on with the air fryer option and gave my red one to a friend still using it. i love their functionality but they are beyond hard to clean!! the spring-loaded door wont stay open and cannot clean the top elements and ceiling without turning the whole oven upside down and having someone else hold the door open. would love any suggestions to meka this easier! i resorted to using easy-off on the red one but don't really like doing that.
