I purchased my Smart Oven Air five months ago and have been using it every single day, starting with toast or bagels in the morning, and ending with cooking roasts and baking desserts at dinnertime! This unit has reduced by about 85% the number of times that I need to use my large oven. I cook and bake every single day and have used a 8" round cake pan, a 12 cup bundt pan, an 8" x 8" brownie pan, a 9" x 13" brownie pan, a 12 muffin muffin tray, and a 9" x 13" broiler pan. I have had very good results, with a few caveats...despite the convection feature, I would still recommend rotating your pans because the heat is a tad uneven and is a bit stronger in the back of the oven, and I would also recommend considering using some tin foil, loosely placed above the pan, at a certain point in your roasting if your dish is one that would tend to splatter grease/gravy so that you can keep the horizontal heating elements in the inside top of the unit cleaner. Because the oven is so much smaller than a regular oven, I would also consider possibly lowering the recommended baking/cooking temperature that is specified in any recipe and/or possibly shortening the baking/cooking recommended time because this Smart Oven heats up quickly and may bake/cook your dish faster than you anticipated. As with every appliance, you have to try it out in a variety of scenarios to see what works best for you! You will quickly get the hang of it and will find it to be one of the handiest appliances you could ever have!
I have only used my kitchen oven once since I got my Breville. From toast, bagels, cookies, reheating, casseroles, air frying to pizza it is the bomb. I have used them all. The best part is that it is easy to clean! I highly recommend this gem. I would give it more stars if I could.
this is the best countertop toaster oven - I'm on my 3rd iteration of this product and each usts gets better for reliability and function. There is rarely a need to use the big Wolf oven as most things can be coked in this powerhouse.
I love the oven and it works great. The first one had a problem with the door not closing. The replacement works great but the only issue is the the screen quickly get condensation and fogs up. If the issue can be addressed that would be great.
We really love this little oven, especially as it has so many possible functions. I have used it for baking, air frying, roasting, broiling, toasting, and proofing dough. It works great. The only thing I would suggest is that when using the air fry basket, put the baking pan on the bottom rack to stop drips. Otherwise, you have a mess of fats or bits of food dropping onto the heating elements.
This is a great little oven! As someone who cooks/bakes constantly, this really helped out while I was waiting on repairs for my main oven. Now, unless I need the space in my full oven, I opt for the Breville. It really kept down the heat in the kitchen while baking/roasting. The proofing feature is truly great. The only feature that has not met my expections is the toast feature; this is slow, and for a variety of different types of bread, required more than one cycle even at the highest setting.
This oven lives up to it’s the promises. It does better than expected job of air frying chicken wings and French fries. The temperature control in all modes is excellent. It is expensive but we’ll worth the price.
