Decent overall but could use some improvements

The oven takes a long time to preheat. It could be because it is large compared to our previous toaster oven.
It does not come with a drip pan for Air Frying! This is essential. The instructions say to not Air Fry food that drips... most of what we like to Air Fry drips! We were able to find a pan that works, but we did have to purchase it separately. Breville did not make one that would fit.
It would be a big improvement to have a self cleaning cycle on the oven. After only a short time, it's dirty inside and impossible to clean.

We've tried most functions on this oven now and are well satisfied with it. It heats up quickly and has almost eliminated the need for a full size oven. The only downside is that the oven casing casing on the left hand side hot gets very hot.

I just started using the Smart Oven Air Fryer and am finding that I no longer use my toaster and regular oven, and I'm using my Microwave much less than before. The food comes out of the Smart Oven with better texture and taste.

We’ve been using this for over 3 months and it truly makes restaurant grade style food! The apple/strawberry pies come out crunchy on outside and creamy soft on inside. The only adjustment we’d recommend is ways to clean the bottom heating sources. The glass heaters are very difficult to clean especially because you cant use anything abrasive. Recommend engineering a way to make those heaters either protected from grease that may fall or food particles or a cleaner that will help with cleansing the areas on the bottom. Otherwise great design and would highly recommend the breville recipe book as well.
